Rich, growing lessons

Grades 1–12 are open today with 3,508 published core lessons in English, maths, science and social studies — about 2,973 hours of narrated lessons with practice. Each lesson is narrated with pictures, has practice with instant AI marking, and names the academic standard it addresses.

Every grade grows while your child is enrolled, towards the School's standard of about 640 hours of lessons and 160 hours of projects; lessons, practice, tests and projects are added as they are ready for publishing.

How marking works

Practice and tests are marked by AI straight away; a second AI model checks a sample, and anything either model is unsure about goes to a person.
Reviewers hold a teaching licence or a university degree; Grades 7–12 are reviewed by someone qualified in that subject.
A grade is passed on steady work across the year — completion in hours against the School's standard (or against what is published, if that is less) and the average of the best marks, retakes welcome — never on one exam. Projects count as one course. Results are calculated by fixed rules, not by AI.
You can ask about any mark: the first review is by AI and free; a review by a person can be requested for a fee shown before you ask.

Your role as a parent

You supervise your child's study day, read the weekly or monthly progress email, and review each grade before it is confirmed. Projects are part of every grade: you mark them yourself against each project's rubric, with the School's AI reading of the work beside you where it has one, and you attest that the mark is honest — the School relies on that, and the project line stays visible on the transcript. Lessons and tests are marked by the platform, not by you.

Expected study load

16 hours of lessons a week (4 hours a day, 4 days, short breaks included) plus 4 hours of project time — about 40 weeks for a full grade. The term is 12 months, so families can go slower. This is the School's own expected load, not a comparison with any public school.

Free tools, real projects

Lessons and projects use free, open-source tools families install themselves — Scratch and Python for programming; GNU Octave, Scilab, wxMaxima and R for maths and data; QScintilla for editing code; JupyterLab for notebooks — the same kinds of tools used in science, engineering and AI-assisted work. Grade 9–12 coding projects are read by the platform, never run on our systems, and marked by you with that reading beside you.

Optional beginner courses in Python, R, GNU Octave, Scilab, wxMaxima and QScintilla are planned, not yet available; today, lessons point to these tools where a task calls for them. See the full list by grade

One fee per grade

US$3,499 per grade for 12 months, plus tax where it applies; renews for the next grade until you cancel. Full refund within 14 days of paying if your child has studied 5 hours or less in that grade.
